hey, everybody. i'm beth troutman. it's video time. we have a bunch to show you, right this minute. a clerk is helping two customers when another customer pulls -- >> a gun from this pants. >> this robbery comes with a terrifying twist. >> geez. >> a paraglider with a gas tank hits a power line and then dangles -- >> for four hours. >> see how many things can go wrong with a rescue 300 feet in the air. for your next christmas party. >> why would you wear something

awesome like this? >> when you can wear something that's -- >> crazy smart. >> like this. >> see how to fire it up. if you ever wondered. >> what red neck aerobics looks like. >> follow the bouncing ball. >> what? just another day on the job for this clerk at an at&t store in pompano beach, florida. a couple of customers there. and then a third customer walks in. on the phone. just looking at the accessories on the wall. then all of a sudden, he starts reaching under his shirt. >> also put on some sunglasses. >> you get he's about to pull a gun from his pants. point it at the clerk. >> what? >> points it right at her neck. >> oh, no. >> get this, those two other guys there that were customers, are in on the job. >> oh, geez. >> yep. >> part of this whole thing. >> they're part of this heist. >> real brilliant after you've already been in the store then

put your hood up. >> they end up dragging this clerk to the back room where the safe is in. in this video the safe is open and they proceed to put a ton of new cell phones into a trash bag they're going to run away with. >> obviously they had inventory of these. they had serial numbers. i wonder if they can make it so they can't activate them. >> police are looking for the three men. we get good enough looks at them from the surveillance video before they put their hoodies on. >> just phones, no money? >> just phones, no money. >> did they harm the clerk? >> they didn't harm the clerk. the clerk was on the phone. they did warn her that if she changed her tone of voice or alerted whoever she was talking to about what was happening they would shoot her. >> how do you not change your tone of voice. if you have a gun pressed against your neck. the adrenaline you would create would cause your voice to quiver. paragliding is one of the best ways to hang out with your friends.

fortunately, this guy wound up hanging out a lot longer than he expected to because he got caught up in some power lines. this guy flying a powered paraglider was stuck in high tension power lines for four hours. he dangled from energized power lines. >> also doubly scary because he's got a power source on him too. >> he's got the gasoline engine strapped to his back. his paraglider wing is wrapped around high tension power lines. and he's about 300 feet off the ground. >> whoa. >> it's not like he can just cut it and take, you know, take a little fall. >> right. >> seems like that's the place you would avoid if you're in a, you know, paraglider contraption maybe you don't get close to the 300 foot tall power lines. >> the other three people he was flying with didn't get trapped in these lines but he did. he was slightly injured. and being 300 feet off the ground there's no easy way to get you down. rescue crews tried a number of different ways.

they had to bring in this huge bucket extension. >> i'm surprised a bucket could get that high. >> and you can see getting dark. they do manage to get him into this basket and bring him back down to safety. >> oh! >> the crazy stuff people can do with their cars like this. this is red bull racer reese million doing the spiral drift. we have this angle from above. you might remember this. it's part of the red bull cruise, sort of that device involving all the different red bull athletes. you see reese going around this spiral, eventually sort of setting free this guy on a motorcycle. we've got an extra video from red bull's website that shows what it looks like from inside the car. >> how do you keep the forward momentum going of the car? >> it's called an engine and gas pedal. >> how do you grip and do that? >> i get what you're saying.

>> how do you do it so long. it wasn't one circle around. it was a circle within a circle within a circle getting smaller and smaller. that's what makes it so impressive. >> i have no idea. you have to hang on to the wheel and hold it right. it's cool to see at the end of the things when he gets close to the motorcycle what it looks like seeing the motorcycle rider from his perspective sitting there waiting for the cue to go. >> that's pretty amazing. this is definitely one of the top ten strangest surveillance videos ever. >> it's a lot to say. >> oh, yeah. >> on this show. >> just you wait. this is in sourbridge. what you're seeing at the beginning of this surveillance footage is a 31-year-old man getting attacked by another man. according to reports the guy on the ground had just come out of a local bar and the guy knocked him to the ground. you see him begin kicking the guy in what looks like the head and it looks like the guy on the ground isn't responding. an unlikely hero comes to the

rescue. guy dressed up like a cave man. >> what? >> you see the guy get thrown on the ground. the guy punches him in the head, kicks him to the head. here comes the cave man. >> yeah. >> you know what, i don't know if i would mess with the cave man either. he was carrying a big, big, big stick. >> a club. i think that's why this guy high tailed it out of there. >> did the cave signal go out? you know. like did somebody go, captain caveman! don't you remember that? remember that? remember that cartoon. don't you remember that cartoon? >> captain caveman! >> not as old as you, bro. >> what. >> the 31-year-old did sustain injuries to his head and nos >>little investigative rke ng of october 27th. thinking this guy might be on his way home from a halloween party. >> makes sense now. first, they need to buy some

the technology in this video is cool but makes me mad because wirdss can already fly and we can't. why do they need to do this? this is the bird buggy developed by a university of florida student andrew gray for a class project with dr. schwartz, dr.

these things and then it comes out with the stripe design all over my face? >> i wouldn't do that because you wouldn't have a primer on your head which is what is needed for the product to accept the spray. >> do you do like a leopard print? >> sure. you could. >> you could do your face on a hub cap. >> just got to design it. ♪ most of us are probably never going to get to cambodia, so i bring you this video. a beautifully shot time lapsed video. kind of stretching the parameter stretching what's possible with time lapsed. the guy thathot this spent about six wee whole thing together on weekends and holidays. it's interesting, it's time lapsed but the camera moves in and out and takes you through the scenery, around streets around different cambodian tourist hot spots. guy says he uses a simple tripod
